Teaching Students Who are Blind (blind)

Teaching Students Who are Blind/Low Vision

Teaching Students who are Blind/Low Vision are new blended courses, focusing on teaching visually impaired students.

These AQ’s are offered primarily online with one week on-site at W. Ross Macdonald School in Brantford, Ontario, allowing candidates to experience hands on learning in a Blind/Low Vision environment, with industry experts.  The on-site component is held July 8 – 12, 2019.  Course candidates will be responsible for the cost of their living accommodation during this period.  Please note: special rates and accommodations are currently being explored.

Please note:  AQ course expectations are paused at the following times: School board holiday observations, and June 17 - July 5, 2019.  There are no course readings, assignments or course expectations during these periods.
